Lyng and District Community Hall is seeking to recruit a Bookings Clerk.

To provide an efficient, high quality and pro-active /administrative service to ensure smooth running of the hall and its facilities. Excellent communication and organisation skills are essential alongside a strong attention to detail.

This post is available immediately on an indefinite basis.

Job type: Part Time. Approximately 6 hours per week over 2-3 mornings (TBC).

Main duties include:

•Managing the hall's on-line booking system using the charity’s booking procedure.

•Responding to telephone messages and electronic enquiries.

•Responsible for uploading hall usage, attendance, and surveys into spreadsheets.

•Responsible and reporting to the Trustees’ and undertaking administrative tasks as required.

•Issue of invoices to clients booking the hall.

•Sending monthly invoice lists to the treasurer and working with the treasurer in chasing unpaid and late invoices.

•Liaising with the hall's publicity agent to manage social media outlets and advertising requirements.

•Other duties may be required from time to time to meet the requirements of the job.
