The Panto
In 2022, a small group of volunteers put on what we thought would be a one off panto based extremely loosely upon a sketch from a popular TV series. With limited resources, an extremely small stage, ad hoc lighting and the flimsiest of curtains, Alan Sarbutt-King wrote and directed this panto after strong arming a bunch of innocent residents of the village onto the stage. It was all a wonderful chaotic experiment which went down so well the Lyng Players were born!
