The Lyng Players are a group of residents and friends from the Lyng Village area and surrounding district. Founded in 2022 by our writer, director and star, Alan Sarbutt-King, it initially started with just 8 volunteers (not all willingly at first), and has grown over the years to a core of amateuar actors who do their very best to put on an annual pantomime for the village. Over the years we have been able to add to our initial small stage and have improved the facilities year on year. From a one night only performance in 2022 with our version of Death by Rasberry, it has grown into a three day performance due to the demand for tickets from our supporters.
